Automotive Build Technician.
£31,675 + overtime.
Warwickshire (M40 corridor).

With a new leadership team and strategic expansion plans, a number of opportunities have arisen for Build Technicians to join their talented team, supporting with the production of a new limited-edition sports car. Working within a team of Technicians and Engineers, you will be supporting the build operations across build stations; whilst liaising with build support staff at all levels. Ensuring the highest possible standard of work is paramount.
The key responsibilities for this role are as follows:
Carrying out processes across build stations.
Controlling point audits to ensure vehicles meet VIS standards.
Maintaining control point data collection.
Training other Technicians in the processes and standards required.
Manufacture / sub-assembly of relevant components from drawings.
Adhering to company safety, house-keeping and discipline standards.
Working with drawings and specification data.
Supporting quality, productivity and process improvement initiatives.My client is keen to hear from people who are mechanically trained with a City & Guilds Level 3 (or similar) and who have already worked in a vehicle manufacturing environment. Regardless of where you come from, you will have the ability to interpret engineers' drawings and a keen eye for detail. You will also be happy to work away at other sites and overseas, on occasion.
In return, my client is offering a salary of £31,675 + overtime, for a fixed two year contract.
