Commercial Vehicle Mechanic

We are recruiting a Commercial Vehicle Mechanic with a large utilities and civils contractor, working in their Internal Fleet Garage

Manpower is recruiting a Commercial Vehicle Mechanic with our client who will join the fleet workshop team to maintain and repair a large fleet of Vans & HGV's

Based in the outskirts of Belfast

We are open to candidates with mechanical experience on HGV or Light Commercial/ Vans

The Role

Mechanical repairs and servicing to a fleet of vans and trucks
Vehicle inspections and fault finding
MOT and PSV
Fit and replace worn parts
Carry out repairs to a high standard ensuring vehicles are safe and road worthy
Work in line with health & safety
Complete any required paperwork and records

What we are looking for

Mechanical experience on Vans or Trucks in a workshop environment
Preferably Level 3 qualified in HGV Repair
Ability to work in fast paced workshop
Diagnostic / fault finding ability

Monday to Friday with Saturdays on rotation (Saturdays overtime rate)
