Design and Project Coordinator required for my Herefordshire based client, an industry leading engineering business that design and manufacture electro-mechanical products.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with exciting new projects in a research & development environment. Previous experience of working within an administration role is essential as you will be expected to develop an understanding of various process and assist where and when required.
Primary Responsibilities of the Design and Project Coordinator:
Managing and supporting the engineering departments projects. Being the key person to ensure the engineering team meet deadlines.
Maintain accurate data entry following various processes relating to the projects and department.
Supporting compliance through out the company, to the law and standards as well as our internal procedures.
Collate information and maintain communication links between various departments.
Design and manage document templates.
Be the first point of contact in office and deal with incoming calls in a timely manner with clear, friendly communication.
Maintain a tidy and positive working environment.
Skills and Experience of the Design and Project Coordinator:
Project Management
Excellent communication skills
MS office proficient - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Previous experience of working in an administration / office management type role
Previous experience of intellectual Property would be of benefit but is not essential.
Working knowledge/experience of engineering, manufacturing ISO 9001 would be of benefit but is not essential.
Ability to prioritise tasks and to quickly learn and absorb new and challenging tasks
Willingness to learn and adapt new skills
