An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager, the role will involve to operationally manage a Care and Support Service to residents with mental health difficulties and learning disabilities. You will over see a team of support staff and have three Team Leaders directly reporting into you.

My client is a purpose-led Housing organisation who deliver a care and housing support service to residents who suffer with homelessness, mental health and learning disabilities.
Description
The key responsibilities:
Oversee a Care and Support Service, ensuring the high-standard delivery of the service.
Support, lead and guide the team to manage their roles effectively.
carry out investigations into complaints and safeguarding issues.
Act as a lead for advice on escalated complaints and housing matters.
Supervisions and annual appraisals of all Team Leaders.
Attend case reviews with Local Authorities and external agencies.
To build good working relationships with Local Authorities and external agencies.
Profile
The successful candidate will be a customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering a high-standard support service and the following experience and attributes:
A background working with the Supported Housing sector.
Experience in overseeing a support service to residents with mental health difficulties, learning disabilities and other complex needs.
Experience managing and motivating staff to ensure a high-standard service is delivered.
A proven ability to work in a person-centred and positive way.
Understanding of the rostering Process within the Health and Social Care Sector.
Ability to understand a residents support needs and match the requirements with the appropriate Support Worker.
Excellent organisational skills and adaptable working in a fast-paced environment.
Has a clean Driving License.
