Accounts Administrator

A hospitality and property business, based in Scarborough, is looking for a Accounts Administrator to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business offering a competitive hourly rate of circa £10.00 per hour, as well as being in a good location, close to the town centre and beach and having attractive, part-time working hours.

Reporting into the Owner of the business, the Accounts Administrator will be responsible for:

Bank reconciliation and invoice processing
VAT admin and input
General data entry and admin across the business
Supporting and liaising with the external accountant
Acting as a point of contact for the business, on a rota'd basis, via telephone and email
Ad hoc Reception cover, as and when required
Managing external enquiries

The successful Accounts Administrator will:

Have knowledge and experience in a similar role
Be customer focused with the ability to communicate via telephone and email
Have a flexible approach to their work and ability to meet deadlines within set time frames
Have previously experience using accountancy software such as Quickbooks, Xero or other cloud based systems
Knowledge and understanding of the hospitality industry would also be beneficial
