Trainee Accounts Assistant
Our established freight forwarding company based in Felixstowe are currently looking for a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join their team! Full training will be provided so no experience is necessary, we are just looking for somebody who has a drive to learn, ask questions and get into their first accounts role!
What does the role include?
This is a role where you can learn all about accounts within freight forwarding so you will get to know about everything within this department. The main duties are as follows:
Raising sales invoices
Marching purchases invoices with cost estimates and posting on the freight system
Posting payments and receipts to Sage (full training provided)
Filing
Covering other members of the department in holiday or absence
What do we need from you?
A desire to learn and ask questions!
Interest in finance
Experience is not necessary, however if you have a short background in accounting this would be great!
Good IT skills
What's on offer?
A salary of £20,000 + a profit related bonus at the end of the year
Private health insurance
Free parking
Working hours of Monday-Friday, 9am-5.30pm
20 days holiday, rising by 1 day every year, after 2 years of service
