General Workshop Assistant

- HGV Class 1 License essential
- 45 hours per week
- £30,000 OTE

My client is a well established Commercial Franchised dealer group covering the South and South West.

This is a great opportunity to join an ever growing company in their Newton Abbot depot.

This is a non-technical role; however, the ideal General Workshop Assistant will hold a full UK class 1 driving licence.

You will have a positive "can do" attitude and be willing and able to work as part of a team. Being a good team player is essential. You must be able to communicate to a high level to ensure the smooth flow of work through the workshop, liaising with your colleagues to ensure customer expectations are met and, in most cases, exceeded. The core role involves providing support to the technical staff which will include presenting vehicles for MOT tests, carrying out road tests post repair, yard management, collecting & delivering vehicles for service and light repair & workshop cleaning duties.

For the right candidate there is a basic salary of £27,600 plus a bonus on top.
