Access to Information Officer

Access to Information Officer needed with Devon County Council, £14 ltd an hour

Start Date- ASAP

Contract End date- initially 6 months

Hours per week - full or part time hours considered

Salary - £14 ltd an hour

Location - Exeter

Description

Manage and respond to requests for information under the DPA FOIA and EIR and from the Police and Courts, in compliance with the councils legal duties, deadlines and Key Performance Indicators
Review and redact files for release to members of the public e.g. Social Care or HR files.
Home working is possible

What is required?

Very good working knowledge of data protection legislation specifically with regards to Subject Access Requests
Extensive experience of working in an administrative role
Demonstratable experience in working in role which makes decisions on whether information is disclosable under the FOIA and/or the DPA
