The Security Set up and Settlements Officer is supporting the team manager based in the city of London with the management and oversight of the day-to-day activities undertaken by the Trade Settlements & Security Set-up & Pricing team.

Description
The main duties of the Security Set Up and Settlements Officer are:
Creation of new security records in the clients systems and any necessary updates to existing securities
Monitoring and update of security prices
Maintenance of static data relating to intermediaries
Supervise team members in duties and performance, providing feedback where necessary and reporting team strengths and weaknesses to management.
Escalation and support to/from the Manager of Trade Settlements.
Motivate, guide and mentor team members to exceed goals & objectives and create a positive environment.
Provide strong coaching and guidance to the team, on the job training to new team members and step in whenever necessary to problem solve
Resolve settlement related issues and escalate as needed; recommend solutions to resolve complex issuesProfile
The pre-requisites for the Security Set Up and Settlements Officer are:
Previous Supervisory Experience Preferred
Experience Training Team Members
Sets clear direction
Effectively manages performance
Delegates and resources tasks effectively
Can create an appropriate culture of client service within the team
Understand the trade settlement process for different products and different markets such as UK, US, European and unit trusts and offshore Funds
