Job Details
We are delighted to be working with a very successful SME business based in North Birmingham who are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team.
The finance team is a busy one, therefore, we are looking for candidates who have energy, drive and enthusiasm to meet the demands of the business.
The main purpose of the role is to support with all the administration that is involved with processing weekly payroll, this will include:
- Client invoicing
- Setting up new starters
- Accurately entering timesheet information
- Producing reports
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have strong administration skills and previous experience with payroll administration. You need to be able to work at pace and complete your work accurately and in a methodical way. This role will suit a positive team player who is organised with excellent communication skills. You will also use Microsoft Office on a daily basis so strong Excel skills is essential.
Role Responsibilities will include: -
- Processing of new starter information.
- Dealing with compliance requirements for workers.
- Co-ordinating weekly timesheet information and data entry.
- Producing profitability reports for management.
- Preparation of payroll information for payroll companies.
- Checking of reports and invoices from payroll companies.
- Creation of weekly sales invoices and sending to clients.
- Dealing with ad hoc queries and resolving any problems.
