The Role

You will be working with minimum supervision as part of the fabrication team, fabricating and welding to engineering drawings, to set procedures and client specification. You will become proficient in the use of all fabrication machinery including press break, guillotine and powered rolls.

Main Responsibilities

Carry out all aspects of fabrication according to company procedures and to client specification.
Assist in the generation of appropriate information as required for contractor or sub-contractor personnel, and for internal colleagues.
Assist in the reporting of the fabrication process, including updates on committed progress aligned to agreed completion dates.
Immediate notification to Team Leader on any arising or foreseen issues.
Assist with the compilation of information for routine reports and statements, and any supporting documentation.
Fabricator / Welder

The Candidate

Experience of fabricating / welding pressure vessels, pipework, heavy plate and light gauge sheet metal.
Working knowledge and experience of quality assurance systems.
Working experience or welder qualification EN ISO287 or EN ISO 9606
Ability to read and interpret drawings.
Proficient in TIG, MIG/MAG and FCAW
Able to work with minimum supervision.
Willing to work overtime when required.
A candidate who may be flexible to work away when deemed necessary.
