Job Details

This is a remote working opportunity.

My client is seeking to appoint 3 to 4 Payroll Administrators to work remotely for the next 8-12 weeks. Ideally you will have experience of working in an Accountancy Practice and will have used the software Payrite previously. This does have the potential to lead to something more permanent for someone Cumbria based.

This role could be carried out on a full or part time basis. The working hours are flexible in line with business needs.

The duties will include;

Processing payrolls, accurately and on time as directed by Team Leader;
Administering and Transmitting RTI files to HMRC;
Producing Payslips, Reports and any other payroll related documents as specified by the Client;
Ensuring BACS payments are ready to be sent by the agreed deadlines;
Liaising with Team Leaders in the answering of telephone calls and the responding to e-mails from Clients in a professional and timely manner, if required;
Dealing with Client queries, if required;
Assisting Team Leaders with HMRC queries/investigations, if required;
Liaising and communicating with third party companies on behalf of the Client;
Carrying out Automatic Enrolment assessments, and processing changes, communications and file uploads in line with current legislation;
Delegating relevant admin duties to the General Administration Team, if required;
Providing training and support to Payroll Team members, if required;
Keeping up to date with changes to legislation and payroll processing procedures;
Ability to identify methods of making payroll processing more efficient and recommending to Team Leaders;
Updating Client records on Aware/APS and with HMRC, where appropriate;
Logging any CPD on the CIPP website and keeping up to date;
Dealing with any internal Client queries from colleagues within Armstrong Watson, if required.For further info please call the branch on (phone number removed).
