CNC MACHINE OPERATOR & SETTER / CREWKERNE – PERMANENT ROLE
gap personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for Manifold CNC Machine Operator & Setters based in Crewkerne for a well-known manufacturing company.
Your duties:
* Setting and operating of the CNC mills for the Manifold department
* Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed
* Following work orders and instructions
* Following tooling and set up sheets in order to set CNC mills to machine components within the required tolerances and within the specified setting time
* Complete work orders in accordance with Kanban system and report any issues
* Change inserts and drills when needed
* Undertake inspections
* Ensure tooling sheets and programs are kept up to date
About you:
* Good PC skills
* Knowledge and experience setting and operating CNC mills
* Flexible to support other departments when required
* Experience of setting and using inspection equipment
Pay:
* Basic salary - £20,232.08
* Shift allowance of 25% applies if working lates or alternate shifts
* Shifts will be determined by the line manager depending on the business needs
