Excellent opportunity for an Operations Manager or Manufacturing Manager to join an international company which is continuing to expand and move into new markets.

On offer is the chance to play a pivotal role at one of their key sites and shape the development of a crucial part of their business.

The company are global business, spanning 3 continents, specialising in specialist manufacturing solutions for a variety of industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Oil & Gas and more. Having been around for almost a century, this company have continued to grow and expand into new markets and are looking for an Operations Manager to help with their expansion and join their close-knit team at their site in Derby offering a generous package as well the opportunity for the right candidate to develop themselves within the business and make their mark on the role and their respective site.

The core responsibilities of this role will be overseeing the day-to-day running of their factory, creating budgets and managing the finances of this site. They will also be managing the team and personnel and overseeing health and safety amongst the team and the company's processes. You will be working closely with the UK Operations Director.

This person will come from a specialised production or manufacturing background with strong experience of managing a team and a good knowledge of health and safety and risk assessment. You will ideally come from a highly regulated industry such as Aerospace, Automotive, Oil & Gas etc.

*Overseeing day-to-day running of the site
*Management of on-site personnel
*Financial management for the site
*Lean production and continuous improvements
*Health and safety and risk assessment procedures

The person:
*Production or manufacturing background
*Experience in a leadership and management position
*Health and Safety, Quality and Risk Assessment knowledge
*Previous experience within a highly regulated industry - Aerospace, Automotive etc.
