The Organisation: CareTech Community Services is a national provider of support for people with complex and challenging behaviours associated with autism, learning disabilities, mental health illness and neurological conditions. We support people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and also in residential care.
We are looking for a Domestic/Cleaner to join our service in Smethwick .You should have the ability to demonstrate a reliable and flexible approach as this role may include weekends.
Reporting to : Home Manager
Primary Function
To ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the house.
Duties
1. The cleaning of all bedroom washbasins and mirrors on a daily basis.
2. To clean all bathroom and toilet areas on a daily basis.
3. To dust and hoover bedrooms as required.
4. To clean, dust and hoover all communal areas including shelving and skirting boards, moving furniture as required.
5. To maintain kitchen cleanliness ensuring bins are emptied, worktops, tiling and surfaces are cleaned daily.
6. To clean and polish the office as required.
7. To undertake any other duties in consultation with the Home Manager commensurate to the level and responsibility of the post
