Interaction Recruitment are proud to be working alongside a leader in the property industry based in Peterborough.

Our client requires an energetic and eager negotiator who is efficient and effective, and able to communicate face-to-face, via telephone and email. The individual must be highly organized, presentable, approachable and confident. They also need to be able to multi-task, manage their time well and deliver ongoing excellent customer service even in difficult situations.

A COMPETITIVE SALARY OF £18,000 - £20,000 PLUS BONUS.

Within the role of a Lettings Negotiator/Administrator you may be responsible for: 

Sourcing suitable tenants  
Generating and carrying out viewings 
Obtaining lets on properties 
Organizing property boards 
Telephone and email enquiries 
Tenancy renewals 
Referencing
The above list is not exhaustive and you may be required to carry out additional associated duties.

The ideal candidate will be quick to learn, use their initiative from the outset, possess good time management skills and be a team player.

A clean driving license is required.

They must also be computer literate and familiar with using Outlook, Word and Excel as well as databases, other IT tools and applications. Working knowledge of CPFwinMan would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Minimizing voids and maximizing rents by managing incoming enquiries, landlords and tenants efficiently and effectively
Carrying out viewings within a 50 mile radius of Peterborough
Managing your own diary and keys
Providing administrative support to the team
Liaising with prospective tenants, letting agents, contractors and external clients on a daily basis
Assessing and resolving tenant enquiries, queries and problems as they arise in a timely and effective manner
Following instructions where required
Taking maintenance calls, evaluating responsibility and referring to a line manager where necessary
Instructing contractors to ensure that maintenance work is carried out in a timely manner and cost effective
Ensuring that statutory requirements, such as Health and Safety are adhered to at all times

(Road based 50%, Telephony 50%)

WORKING HOURS:

Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm

Alternate Saturdays 9am - 1pm
