Position: Production Operative
Location: Banbury
Duration: 6 months
Pay rate: £9.96ph
2 shift patterns on offer:
EITHER
Days - 08:00 - 16:15 Mon-Thurs and 08:00 - 14:30 Friday
OR
Double Days - 06:00 - 14:00 Mon Thurs, 06:00 - 13:30 Friday one week AND 14:00 - 22:00 Mon - Thurs, 13:30 - 21:00 Friday (Rotating pattern, must be able to work both earlies and lates)
No Experience needed - you will be fully trained in the position
As a Production Operative you will:
Carry out General Assembly Duties
Follow instructions and adhere to processes contained within Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Ensure high level of 5S, keeping all working areas clean and tidy at all times including: Clean Floors, Work Surfaces, Machines and Equipment
Ensure all equipment and machinery is used in the correct, safest and most efficient way at all times
Ensure that all assembly and production is completed in line with CTG requirements and in line with CTG's Business Plan
Carry out TPM
Support continuous improvement and ACE deployment through active participation on Lean Events, Workshops and Continuous Improvement activities. Proactively seek to identify opportunities for improvement
You will bring to this role:
You will be able to read, understand and follow SOP's (work instructions)
Good communication skills
Ability to identify and be able to question sub-standard process/product
Problem solving techniques and ability to work on own initiative. (Logical and systematic approach)
PC Literate
Must be flexible and willing to learn new skills
As part of the legal requirement to comply with international trade controls, we require all candidates to successfully complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check including criminal record checks. In addition we will check the identity of all employees against various government denied party lists prior to making a formal offer of employment.
