We have a fantastic new opportunity for candidates to join our extremely successful and well known client on a temporary to permanent basis in Milton Keynes as a Trainee Service/Repair technician. Our client is well known for investing in their people and want to develop the service team. They have first class training facilities on site, so if you are looking for a career and not just a job then this is the perfect opportunity for you.
The role is based close to central Milton Keynes and is working Monday to Friday 8.00 am until 4.30pm. The salary for this role will vary dependant on previous experience but will be in the region of £9-£9.50 per hour and will increase as time goes on and your skill set improves.
As a Service and repair technician
You will play a pivotal role in the success of a busy service centre with responsibility for servicing and maintaining a variety of small tools including 2/4 stroke petrol tools and a range of electrical tools including saws, grinders and drills to ensure that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it.
The Job
You will receive the products in house, use configuration to figure out what the problem is. Once this has been pin pointed it is your job to repair the problem ready for the next team in the chain to organised the return to the customer.
The ideal candidate
No previous experience necessary but is desired. Must must have a genuine interest in power tools/ power tools chain.
