Role objective:

To assist in taking responsibility for accurate and timely preparation, processing, recording and provision of accounting information, adding to the continuous improvement of financial controls, processes and efficiencies within the finance function of the two trading divisions of Interior Products Group Limited (Morland Fit Out Products and Newmor Wallcoverings).

 

Key responsibilities:

As a part of the finance team be responsible for executing efficient and effective operations in accounting and other regulatory requirements for Interior Products Group Limited’s divisions as follows:

  • Process and reconcile employee expenses claims on monthly basis and to manage and record credit card expenses
  • Overview, maintain and reconcile the company's petty cash system on a daily basis
  • Maintain and process all bank accounts weekly cashflow and forecasting
  • Overview and reconcile all company bank accounts to General Ledger codes in Microsoft’s D365 ERP system on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Reconcile and post card payments from Adyen and/or Lloyds Cardnet
  • Processes the company's payroll every pay period.
  • Maintain the payroll processing package which records employee time and attendance records and then computes employee take-home pay and ensure posting of gross pay and all deductions and employer contributions.
  • Monitor the payroll system, including time and attendance.
  • Take accounts phone calls, take card payments via virtual terminals and be prepared to answer customer queries by reference to FAQ’s
  • Provide for cover on holiday and other absences of team members.
  • Assist with provision of other ad hoc assignments as required
  • Liaise with external auditors

 

Required experience / qualifications:
