Provide a first class professional experience for our client - Open University, Belfast

Accurately processing a high volume of Associate Lecturer (AL) contracts in a timely manner to our Success Factors system
Responding in a timely and professional manner to queries from Associate Lecturers, Staff Tutors and AL Services Colleagues, ranging in variety and complexity
Ensuring the accurate archiving of sensitive employment documentation on a regular basis in line with GDPR requirements
Supporting the Onboarding process for new ALs to the University
Accurately recording New Starter documentation on the Employee system following University procedures. Report any breaches and/or omissions immediately to line manager
To support continuous improvement in the delivery of resourcing activity working closely with colleagues in both the Resourcing Hub and the wider People Services team to achieve this.
Support the Resourcing Account Manager with key activities relating to the AL Contract implementation and the Core Systems Replacement activity
Work closely with the Co-ordinator /Resourcing Account Manager to support the AL recruitment process across the Four Nations of the University
Any other duties as required by the Resourcing Hub

Skills and Experience

Education, qualifications and training

Essential:

GCSE English and Mathematics or equivalentKnowledge, work and other relevant experience

Essential:

Experience of working in a busy, customer focused, office environment
Excellent IT skills to include the full range of Microsoft Office Packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and proven ability to learn new systems
Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive mattersSkills, capabilities and qualities

Essential:

Proven communication skills both written and oral
Excellent customer service skills and experience of building good working relationships
Proven ability to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues as required
Able to use initiative and take ownership of tasks seeing them through to successful conclusion
Proven planning and organisational skills with the ability to work co-operatively and responsively in a variety of team settingsA flexible approach to work
