We are currently working with a client who are looking for a Credit Control Administrator to join there team. 

You will need to be self-motivated, organised and an enthusiastic team player, who can also work under their own initiative with a ‘can do’ approach.  Reporting to the Finance Office Manager your role will be to support the team with various credit control administration duties.

Key Duties:

  • Proactively contact customers for collection of debt within the customer payment terms and minimise overdue debt
  • Liaise with customers and the wider team to ensure customer queries are resolved in a timely and professional manner
  • Dealing with customer queries and enquiries on the telephone and via email
  • Preparation of debtors reports at various time points in the month
  • Credit Check management of customer accounts
  • Ad-hoc producing of Statements l
  • Highlight any potential debt risk to the relevant Manager or Director
  • To provide cover for other members of staff in the Finance team, eg Purchase Ledger administration, general filing, sending of daily post
  • Processing weekly payroll and collating the reports associated with payrol

 

 

Candidate Profile

  •  ideally have 1 year plus experience in credit control administration
  • Working knowledge of using Sage Payroll,
  • Qualified in GCSE’s Grade C and above including Maths and English
  • Knowledge in using Microsoft Dynamics Navision
  • Numerical, computer literate with good keyboard skills and proficient in Microsoft office applications to include, Outlook, EXCEL & Word
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong Customer service experience
  • Attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
  • Disciplined, confident and self motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Works well on own initiative, as well as part of a team
  • Effective time management & organisational skills
  • Clean driving licence

Hours of work will be either: 8:00am to 4:00pm or 8:30am to 4:30am Monday to Friday (with extra hours where necessary including any peak business times)
