Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Knightsbridge
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum + Performance related pay - 1st year o.t.e - £50k+
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a very well established Motor Group, heading up a privately owned leasing and fleet management company in the role of Business Development manager. The recent acquisition of the lease company adds another string to their already impressive bow and presents a unique opportunity for a highly driven and ambitious individual to become an integral component of the business.
Their main specialist service is vehicle leasing, accompanied by a full range of fleet management products. They offer a single source of supply for all makes and models of cars and vans and welcome customers looking for a business or personal vehicle leasing.
The Role
An opportunity to grow the existing customer base, as well as build your own portfolio of leasing customers within the popular car and van market. Candidates with a will to succeed can expect ongoing support and high earning potential, with the opportunity to achieve strong financial rewards linked to the business profitability and a pathway to develop into a Director level role in the future.
* Managing inbound sales enquiries for lease vehicles via web enquiries, email and telephone and navigating prospects through the sales cycle
* Guiding customers towards that perfect deal for them based on their individual needs
* Responsible for selling to new customers via warms leads and to generate new business.
* Prospecting - via e-mail and other channels with a view to creating sales opportunities and appointments.
* Building a prospect / client database and maintaining via CRM.
* Writing sales proposals and generating quotations.
* Aiding customers with enquiries regarding vehicle leasing both car and commercial (LCV's)
* Arranging the best finance deals with access to multiple finance companies
* Account managing existing customer accounts and resolving any queries
* Ensuring the highest levels of customer service and customer satisfaction
* Engaging social media and utilising the marketing support to positively promote the business
Skills/Experience Required
* Highly driven individual, able to work on own initiative and focused on high achievement
* Proven track record in some form of automotive sales, previous leasing experience would be an advantage but candidates from a Main Dealer Showroom background will also be considered
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate and engage with customers and adapt your style to suit.
* Sales pipeline experience from within the automotive trade and strong closing ability
* Good MS Office experience (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Experience of working within the vehicle leasing sector would be a distinct advantage
