Logistics Manager
Life Science Logistics
Cambridgeshire

We are working with a highly reputable, life changing business in the Cambridgeshire area who are on the hunt for a Logistics Manager to join the team.
This is a specialist role for someone with direct experience managing highly sensitive shipments.
You will also play a key part in developing the team, so it's crucial that candidates come from a strong, hands on Logistics background.
I am looking to hear form Logistics Managers from a Life Science, Pharmaceutical or Time Sensitive Logistics background.
Role & Responsibilities:
*Gather customer and supply chain requirements on an individual shipment or study level
*Design and implement appropriate, compliant, cost-effective and scalable solutions
*Collaborate with third party offices and suppliers to arrange and coordinate shipment solutions
*Effectively support the team to proactively monitor status of shipments, identification and action to deal with issues as they arise, implementing planned corrective measures and escalating appropriately to maintain product viability
*Utilize technology to provide enhanced monitoring, management and control of shipments as required
*Ensure the customer and/or consignee are provided with regular, accurate and timely updates on shipment status as required
*Ensure that the service remains accessible and easy to use at all times by the client and applicable stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
*In-depth experience within the Pharmaceutical logistics sector with experience of managing an operational team within this environment
*Ability to investigate deviations and root cause analysis with effective CAPA implementation
