Job Details

Our client is an established Automotive Retailer with branches in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Birmingham, Solihull, Tamworth, Wolverhampton and Suffolk.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is seeking a temporary position, working as part of a team, with variety and responsibility within a friendly environment.

Paying circa £12.30 per hour (DOE) the role will start on the 5th August and will end at the end of September.

Responsibilities:

Receive, sort and log daily banking for allocated sites.
Complete daily banking posting sheets for allocated sites.
Correctly allocate payments to the relevant outstanding SL accounts.
EFT Payments, including HP Settlements, vehicle purchases, cashbacks, refunds and goodwill payments.
Raising cheques.
Review your SL accounts, resolve queries and distribute weekly debtor reports to your allocated sites.
Reconcile cash suspense accounts.
Investigate and resolve queries quickly and efficiently.
Resolving internal queries quickly and efficiently.
Keeping all filing up to date.
Highlight to the Finance Manager and/or Group Financial Controller of any known financial risk to the business.
Ensure that all systems and procedures in place within the business comply with current legislation and Group policy.
Successful Applicant:

Previous experience working in a cashiering/sales ledger role.
Used to working in a fast paced environment
Confident working to daily and monthly deadlines
Attention to detail.
Enthusiastic and motivated.
Computer literacy, strong administration and time management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be a confident communicator both verbal and written.
Good team player
Kerridge/CDK/Drive experience beneficial but not essential.
Automotive experience beneficial but not essential
