Do you have Air Freight experience? Do you have Key Account experience? Do you have experience of working the warehouse too? (Forklift etc)
Are you looking for a new Air Freight role working with a huge global logistics company?
The purpose of this role is to provide efficient and proactive Import & Export services to all internal and external stakeholders.
You will be managing all aspects of the Import & Export operations:
Delivering a high level of customer service to continually exceed your customers' expectations
Deliver a high level of operational excellence by understanding airfreight procedures & processes to meet regulatory standards
SLA's - ensuring you are meeting company SLA'sMain tasks and responsibilities:
Manage relevant mailboxes, responding to all emails / queries in a timely fashion
Liaise with UK and global stakeholders to arrange Import shipments
Complete Import entries inline with UK HMRC regulations
Invoicing
Maximise profits
Ensure all customer KPI's / SLA's are met
Management of freight within the warehouse - building pallets / breaking freight down / labelling etc. Please be clear that this role will include Forklift usageTo be considered for this role you must be experienced in Air Freight, ideally with a knowledge of the customs process and it would be advantageous if you have a working knowledge of Sequoia.
You will be able to demonstrate you:
Have a customer focus
Air Freight experience
Display a positive and proactive nature, with a willingness to learn
Effective communicator - written & oral, internal & external
IT Skills: Microsoft
Forklift experienceSalary:
£25 - £32K basic
25 days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
Pension scheme
Additional day off on your birthday
Working hours: 9am - 5.30pm (Shift pattern applicable during peak periods)
