MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator Positions
Immediate start!
Location - Corby
Temporary-Permanent Position
Hourly pay/Salary £11-£15 per hour - £23,000 - £31,000 dependant on experience.
Shifts: Monday-Friday days 8 hour shifts.
Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holiday
A fantastic opportunity for an experience Welder Fabricator experienced in TIG or MIG to join an extremely well established Engineering firm based in Corby, with the chance to go permanent very much a reality for the right individual. If you are seeking a very well paid, stable and progressive environment with opportunity to grow in a matter of weeks/months then this role may be for you.
Responsibilities:
To comply with all Health and Safety regulations and instructions.
MIG welding materials from 1mm upwards to specified procedures.
Inspect and measure finished products against the requirements.
To comply with all relevant Standards including ISO 9001 and EN 1090. Requirements:
Engineering apprenticeship desirable.
Proven experience as a MIG welder essential, ability to TIG weld an advantage.
Skilled with an understanding of operating workshop machinery, tooling and measuring equipment.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
Mechanical aptitude and good mathematical skills.
Able to work freehand and/or using jigs.
Good communication skills.
Team player with ability to take on individual tasks as required.
Ability to work to deadlines and targets. General:
Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the workshop.
Co-operate with management requests as required
