Estimator/Pre-Construction

Estimator/Pre-Construction- Full Time – Permanent – Diss – circa £40,000per annum

Hales group recruitment are seeking an Estimator/Pre-Construction for our construction client based in Diss.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:30.

Main Duties Include:

Preparing tender bids and collating information from enquiries received.
Developing and securing relationships with premier suppliers, researching and procurement of materials, equipment, and labour costs.
Preparing accurate take offs from drawings.
Liaise with the Design team and understand and interpret site requirements.
Work with all relevant departments on new applications to ensure smooth planning and implementation of project.
Prepare handover documents for the Contracts Manager and installation teams.
Keep all records and database up to date.
Key Requirements:

Experience in preparing tenders and undertaking take offs from construction drawings and expert in interpreting drawings.
Experience in Cladding built up and Seam systems is essential.
Communication skills and able to build relationships.
IT and Computer Skills using Microsoft Office.
A valid UK Driving license.
