CONTRACTS OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Pertemps are working with our client based in Rotherham to recruit a Temporary to Permanent Contracts office Administrator, this role will be:
To assist in the provision/hire of plant and equipment for our construction sites and to monitor the plant hire log to ensure equipment is off hired when not required.
To assist in purchasing of materials for their warehouse stock, this includes purchasing from overseas/Europe, therefore import clearance knowledge would be an advantage, and also purchasing of tools/equipment.
Provision and supply of PPE
To organise external transport for delivery of materials to site and produce delivery notes
Processing of contracts documentation for site - eg Method Statements/Risk Assessments/Drawings etc.
Production of Operation & Maintenance documentation on completion of projects and send to main contractors
To assist with our ISO9001 and ISO14001 quality and environmental business management systems
To attend management meetings and take minutes
To book accommodation for site operatives/project management team
Organising courier/overnight deliveries to site via Tuffnells and Palletforce portals
To assist in organising training courses for all site, workshop and office staff
General administration - photocopying/scanning/telephone duties etc.
This is a full time position. Experience of working in a similar background would be advantageous
Reporting to the Contracts Office Manager, the candidate will be required to provide cover during holidays/sickness and at busy times, for other related duties.
The office hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm, with a 30 minute lunch break to be taken between 12.00-14.00.
Agency workers will commence on £9.50 per hour on a temp to permanent basis for the right candidate
