Stock Controller
Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for a very well-established manufacturer of products used within the Construction industry. Our client is recruiting for a Stock Controller based in Leicestershire.
About the role:
We are a fast-growing manufacturing company, looking for an experienced Stock Controller. The role is office-based amongst a small but busy team. You will be responsible for the stock integrity of the business ensuring accurate counts and valuations are maintained on the ERP system.
Duties will also include:
Stock Control
To set up and run a PI plan for warehouse operations to physically count
Make sage stock adjustments from submitted counts
Investigate and correct stock issues, checking sage/physical stock discrepancies and fill in a summary report
Sorting and labelling locations
Investigating when ‘Free Stock’ appears and amending sage, completing summary report
Organising yearly stocktake
Sage Stock
Ensure item is in the correct product group
Liaise with purchasing to ensure supplier details of all bought items in a product group are up-to-date and lead time is set
Ensure search category if correct within sage
If item is manufactured, ensure batch quantities are filled in and correct
Bill of Material (BOM’s)
Analyse BOM to ensure the material is correct.
Ensure the times within each process are correct
Working with the production team to ensure BOM details are updated to reflect current operations
About you:
The person should demonstrate excellent computer skills, Outlook, Word, Excel
Knowledge of Sage essential.
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Attention to detail is essential
Additional Information:
Full time, permanent
Hours of work – Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm – 40-45 hours per week
Salary - £30k – £35k (dependant on experience)
Location - Office based
Onsite parking
23 days holidays plus statutory holiday (Up to 4 days are to be used for Christmas shutdown)
Pension Scheme – auto enrolled after 3 months
