Telephone Collections Agent – Full Time, Permanent
Basic Salary: £19,000 - £25,000 per annum plus bonus

About the Role
On a day-to-day basis you will communicate with customers through incoming and outgoing telephone calls. You will aim to understand their circumstances and negotiate affordable repayments for overdue accounts ensuring that the customers best interests are met.
Full training is given, and ongoing support and guidance is provided to give you the fullest opportunity to thrive with us. Our culture is open, supportive, and friendly.
We offer a staged Career Path for Telephone Collection Agents, allowing skill, effort and commitment to be rewarded through career and remuneration progression.
Starting salary is £19,000 per annum with an increase after 6 months’ probation to £20,000 and subsequent “Career Path” reviews every 6 months rising to £25,000 based on performance.
On target bonus earnings are up to £2,000 in the first year rising to £7,000 per year with experience and tenure.
This is a Full Time & Permanent Position at Ardent working an alternating 2-week shift pattern of Monday – Friday 8am - 4pm and 10am – 7pm and 1 Saturday every 4 weeks, 9am – 2pm.
Due to Covid19 we are currently working different office hours, these are Mon - Friday 09:00 to 17:30. These may be subject to change and revert to the original shift pattern.
After training, you may be temporarily based working from home until government guidelines permit a return to office working.

About You
Experience of working in a contact/call centre or customer facing roles is desirable but not essential. We are however, looking for bright and enthusiastic people to join our team and you should ideally have:
strong listening and negotiation skills and be a confident communicator
resilience while supporting customers with difficult issues
the ability to solve problems and deal with customers who are experiencing financial difficulties
ability to provide information, quickly and clearly
a can-do attitude and a real passion for supporting people
the ability to work from home if Government require us to do so
