Temporary Fabricator/Welder

If so read on, Adecco are proud to be working with a well established Company who are seeking a Temporary Welder/Fabricator to join their expanding team in Kettering for 3 months.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a welder/fabricator in steel work is essentialDuties:

Measure and mark work pieces using straightedges, rules, and calipers
Cut and smooth down metal components using plasma cutters, portable grinders, lathe, and milling machines
Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings in order to lay out a welding project
Maintain welding safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a risk-free work environment
Carry out welding according to set dimensions to meet general test requirements
Organise and clean welding equipment on a regular basis
Bore holes through metal work pieces using drill press
Weld materials in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
Use measuring instrumentsLocation: Kettering

Salary: £9.83 p/h and after 12 weeks £10.83

Working days: Monday to Thursday 7:30am-16:30pm and Friday 7:30-12:30pm

Duration of contract: Temporary to Permanent
