Recycling Yard Operative

Quest Employment are looking for an experienced Yard Operative to join them at a brand new recycling facility on the outskirts of Corby. For this position, counterbalance FLT experience would be beneficial but the company would look at training the right candidate for this

This is a Monday to Friday position, and between 38-45 hours per week dependant on the workload. You would start work at 8am and finish roughly 5pm. This job is working both inside the recycling plant and outside so you must be happy to work in all weather conditions.

Your responsibilities could be but not limited to -

- Checking, maintaining and feeding the state of the art machinery on site. Ensuring all products put through the machine are meant to be there and removing any anomolies. Repairing any minor problems or blockages

- Moving the product around the site - from the containers, onto the line and then movement of the containers. This would include use of a Counterbalance FLT

- Up keep and maintenance of site - this would include cleaning and ensuring the site is safe for use 

For this position, the suitable candidate must be happy to work inside and outside in all weather condiitons, the site is dusty and dirty (due to the work being carried out) and this can be manual work so you must be physically fit. A good level of English is also required due to the nature of the job and Health and Safety. We would also advise the candidate to have their own means of transport due to the location of the site
