JOB TITLE: Junior Accounts/Admin Assistant (Permanent)
SALARY: £20,000 - £22,000 (depending on experience)
LOCATION: Welwyn Garden City
Our well-established client based in Welwyn Garden City is looking for a junior account/admin assistant to help their busy accounts team. They are a business that prides themselves on being focused and forward thinking, they can offer personal development and career progression to a reliable and enthusiastic individual.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
· Checking Supplier Invoices are correct as to order
* Entering Supplier Invoices on our Sage Accounts system and relevant spreadsheets.
* Processing Card Terminal payments and associated Admin.
* Credit Control - chasing payment.
* Processing payment receipts on Accounts system.
* Processing and Contesting Parking and Other Traffic Charges.
* Answering the phone to help with general delivery queries/booking in deliveries.
* General Scanning and Filing within Office.
* Assisting on ensuring delivery trackers are up to date, helping to book relevant staff training, sending timeslot SMS to clients.
SKILLS
* Good written English and proficiency in writing emails, typing, and composition.
* Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook to a proficient degree.
* Candidate will receive inhouse training on specific programs such as SAGE accounts and processes that may be unfamiliar, so prior knowledge of SAGE is not a pre-requisite - but a willingness to learn is key.
* Good Telephone manner.
* Previous admin or PA experience would be beneficial.

Please note: This is a full-time permanent role based in the office, Monday-Friday 09:00 am - 6pm, plus some Saturdays on a rota basis.
My client is looking to undertake Face to Face interview week commencing 15th July for an immediate start.
