Job Details

My Client, a leading FMCG company based in Greenford are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager on a full time permanent position - the role will involve working evening/night shifts and will involve weekends. The salary is £30,000.

Your role will involve -

Managing a workforce of 12+ employees ensuring all processes are adhered to.

Manage and evaluate labour resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime when picking customer orders.

Strive to reduce mis-picks by communicating out of stock items and short dated stock.

Ensure all employees follow H&S guidelines and site technical procedures and policies when picking and filling out documentation.

Monitor and manage productivity and performance of each employee and look for improvements.

Create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels, whilst reducing costs.

Communicate any shortages to the supply chain team and picking team.

Perform end of night and chiller checks and ensure that the area is left in a tidy standard.

Record and report weekly H&S figures to higher management.

Ensure all pallets are wrapped for the drivers the following morning.

Ensure all stock is put away in racking before the end of the shift.

Attend weekly meetings and provide valid suggestions for improvements across all departments.

Perform a daily team brief to all staff (stock issues, out of stock items, order focus).

Ensure completed pallets are record and communicated to transport loaders.

Reduce and minimise non-conformances in the wholesale department.

Ensure delivery drivers complete return forms and these are signed when returning stock.

Produce a daily handover showing labour, productivity of wholesale picking department.

Provide training and update training matrix where required.

Returns area checked daily and stock returns with no paperwork needs to be raised with the Warehouse Supervisors.

Reply and action mis-pick/short dated/missing stock and issue where required file notes for investigations.

The ideal candidate will possess -

Previous Management experience
Experience in an FMCG company
Understanding Warehouse Management Systems
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of reporting figures
Understanding of HR practices
Highly motivated and organised
Good people management and motivational skills
