Manpower are excited to be working with family run business in the heart of Telford who are looking for a passionate, hardworking, and dedicated individual to join their team in the Transport and Logistics division as a Transport Coordinator.
Initial duties will include:
Collating driver's paperwork;
Printing, matching and scanning of delivery notes;
Creation, printing and authorising of third party labels;
Liaising with couriers / 3rd party hauliers;
Contacting customers where delays may occur;
Data input into spreadsheets;
Preparing drivers daily run sheets (through issuing of load lists and delivery notes) Once you have achieved a competent level with your standard duties, the company will then look to train you further to be able to expand your knowledge and provide support and cover to the Transport Manager.
The successful applicant will have:
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Be forward thinking
Have great communication and customer service skills
Be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Excel
A good geographical knowledge is essential
Data Input and the ability to manage your time and multitasking is also essentialWorking hours are 9am until 5pm however there will be some requirements for outside of these hours therefore flexibility is key.
On-site parking is available as well as a company pension
