Accounts Administrator
Full time - 39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm
Salary - £22,000 to £25,000 depending on experience
Location - Staverton, Cheltenham
Our client in Staverton has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to join their team. They are looking for a team player with a flexible approach and good organisational skills to be part of their growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
Process daily customer payments received
Daily bank management
Process weekly supplier payments
Monthly bank reconciliation
Month end processes
Answering phone calls and dealing with them in a timely and professional manner
Communicating with suppliers to deal or forward any request to the relevant person
Petty cash coordination
Franking out going postPurchase Ledger
Updating, reporting and use of SAGE 50 accounts
Reconcile to statements
Request and follow up credit notes
Request missing invoicesSales Ledger
Assisting credit control with sending out chase letters
Allocating customer payments
Taking card payments over the phonePayroll Collation
Administration and collation
Payroll data entry using Sage Payroll Cash Flow
Preparation of information given to the Managing Director
Keeping the cashflow forecast accurate and up to date with new direct debits and payments
Personal Profile:
Attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to communicate fluently with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to prioritise workloads to meet agreed deadlines
Flexible approach to work
