Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager required in Cheltenham.

- £20,000 basic salary with £40,000+ uncapped on-target-earnings and personal company car/phone. 
- 8:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday with no weekends required.

Our client, a premium multi-franchise approved car dealership based in the Cheltenham region, are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their corporate sales team. 

Reporting to the Group Corporate Sales Manager and working in a small and friendly corporate sales team.

The Business Development Manager responsibilities shall include: 

- Prospecting for new corporate vehicle sales business.
- Achieving agreed vehicle sales targets.
- Contribute to the achievement of customer retention.
- Develop and maintain a full knowledge of all vehicles/services provided by our client.
- Provide reports on all sales activities including follow-up, prospecting, new clients, etc.
- Ensure the completion of all sales and finance paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. 
- Ensure that all outstanding amounts are paid within the timescales required.
- Use an approved FCA approach in the presentation and sale of financial and insurance products.
- Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.

In order to be eligible the Business Development Manager shall need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Cheltenham and have a UK driving licence with minimal points. Due to the nature of this role previous fleet/corporate sales experience within the automotive sector is essential and any exposure to the premium/prestige end of the market would be highly beneficial. Overall the Business Development Manager shall have excellent communication skills with a focus on customer care and be well-presented, proactive, self-motivated, and tenacious with a demonstrable success in business to business sales.

- Starting basic salary of £20,000 with £40,000+ uncapped on-target-earnings based on performance.
