MIG Welder

Our client, a leading International manufacturing company in Telford, is seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join its expanding team on a temp to perm basis.

You will receive 21 days holiday (could be taken in hourly slots) plus statutory days, a health care package, access to onsite parking, a pension and will be issued uniform. The company have been well established in Telford for over 20 years and supply pressings, fabrication and welded assembly parts to the automotive sector.

As a MIG Welder your duties will include:

MIG Welding to the required standard.
Working to deadlines and targets.
Being able to produce quality welds
Check quality against MIG welded components

An ideal MIG Welder will hold the following skills and experiences:
Be Flexible & work overtime if required.
Proven amount of experience in Welding
Ability to work under minimal supervision to deadlines.

There is opportunity for progression for additional learning and once this level of training has been achieved by company standards all workers will be eligible for pay increase.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm Friday 8am - 1pm
Over time is paid at time and one third for additional hours worked in the week and time and one half is paid for additional hours worked on a Saturday.

Pay rate is £9.83 per hour to start which rises once you transfer as a fully trained permanent employee to £11.30 per hour.
