Warehouse Operative

A local family run business are searching for a Warehouse Operative to join their team on a temporary – permanent basis, working 08:00 – 18:00 on a weekly shift rota based in Worcester. The company themselves have been in their particular industry for over 20 years with stores based Worcester/Hereford area.

The responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative will be:

Picking orders.
Wrapping pallets.
Sorting stock.
Loading and unloading deliveries.
Other general Warehousing duties.The requirements for the Warehouse Operative will be:

Previous experience in a Warehousing environment.
Previous experience using a Forklift would be beneficial but not essential.
Must be comfortable working in a chilled environment.
Must be comfortable working with produce.
Ready and willing to work overtime depending on the needs of the business.The role of Warehouse Operative will be a temporary – permanent position being paid £8.91 per hour with the potential of a permanent contract being offered to outstanding candidates after the completion of a 12 week period.
