Financial Accountant | North Manchester | £50,000-£55,000
This is a great interim opportunity to work with a well established logistics company in North Manchester. This role will be focused on providing support direct to senior management.
This interesting and varied role will include the following duties:
Leading role in developing financial processes and enhancing use of accounting system
Liaising with suppliers.
Ensuring good cost approval governance is maintained
Bank reconciliations
Developing an FX strategy
Reviewing historical revenues and costs reported in the operating and billing system
Managing all VAT + CT related matter
Preparation and coordination of monthly review files within prescribed deadlines, ensuring all balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled and documented.
The successful candidate for this position will have/be:
A fully qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
Proven ability to process purchase invoices, prepare reporting close journals
Have very strong IT skills, to include excellent excel skills
Have strong numeracy skills demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. Able to manage and positively deal with high levels of change within the business - working with resilience and managing uncertainty
