Generator Service Engineer

Manpower is recruiting a Generator Service Engineer with our client based in Belfast, a UK wide plant and tool hire company

Suitable candidates will need mechanical experience on diesel engines or generators, preferably within the plant/ engineering industry but you may also come from commercial vehicle or general plant machinery background.

Combination of field service work on customer sites and workshop based duties

Service and maintenance of generators
Carry out service schedules and inspections on generator equipment
Repair and refurbish generators
Diagnose and fault find effectively
Represent the company professionally at all times dealing with customers

What we are looking for

Diesel engine or generator experience, preferably within plant hire or other engineering sector
Technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Experience servicing, refurb & overhaul of diesel engines
IT Proficient
Good communicator who can work well under pressure and in a team
Full driving license
