Full Time Support Worker Job - Residential Service Adults with Learning Difficulties

To support people with learning disabilities with all aspects of their daily lives, ensuring that they have maximum opportunities and choice for developing new skills and leading fulfilling, varied, are valued and live socially inclusive lifestyles where their rights, dignity and safety is protected.
Your new role
This is a full-time opportunity and you must be able to commit to the shift patterns: early shift is 7am - 3:30pm and late shift is 3pm - 10pm, there are also long days available from 7am - 10pm. You will be get to know all 9 residents within the home but spend most of your time working 3-to-1 with a particular resident who has serve autism, ADHD and shows signs of challenging behaviour.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have previous experience within the care industry working with adults with learning disabilities. You must be able to commit to the shift patterns offered above, unfortunately there is no flexibility in terms of shift times. Ideally you will have an NVQ Level 2 in health and social care but this is not essential. Ideally you will be able to drive, but again, not essential.
