Our Client based in Avon-mouth is currently looking for a Warehouse Team leader to come and join their team!
This client is a rapidly expanding manufacturer of high-quality food to go products operating from a purpose-built temperature-controlled factory in Avon-mouth, Bristol.
They are looking for an ongoing temporary warehouse team manager with the possibility to go permanent for the right person.
What You'll Do:
Manage all the drivers in the Bristol depot.
Work closely and efficiently with the Transport Manager to ensure route changes and efficient delivery schedules.
To monitor & develop the performance of all drivers.
Manage shift allocations and ensure the efficiency of all staff.
Arrange necessary resources as required to ensure the transport plan is covered.
Ensure Legislative requirements are monitored and adhered to including driver's hours and vehicle compliance.
Accurately, quickly, and clearly answer questions related to your area of focus.
Ensure high levels of Customer Service are maintained in the Transport operation to provide best in class customer experiences at every opportunity.
Carry out other tasks if/when set by management.
To monitor the progress of all team members, ensuring employees arrive for duty on time.Ideal Candidate:
IOSHH certificate would be desirable but not essential.
Managers CPC would be desirable but not essential.
Ideally, Experience of 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving process improvements.
Strong leadership skills, ability to build and manage teams.
Health and Safety knowledge of vehicle operations and controls.
Ability to learn, act quickly & make decisions.
Numerical and literacy skills to compile reports and necessary documentation as required.
A strong organisational and excellent communication skill
Up to date on all transport and compliance regulations
Ensure all vehicles and drivers conform to relevant H&S and Road Traffic Legislation
