Page Personnel is working with a well known manufacturing business based in Liverpool to recruit a Management Accountant to join an established accountancy team.

They offer a broad range of services and work with some exciting and well recognised businesses.

Description

The role of Management Accountant will be part of a small finance team but support the wider business. Key responsibilities:

Producing monthly management accounts and closing all month end processes
Maintaining group reporting tools ensuring data quality is accurate
Creating monthly management accounts packs for local directors
Preparing monthly and yearly sales forecasts with variance analysis
Reviewing job profitability against estimates, investigating deviations together with sales and production as required
Responsible for budgeting process and variance analysis
Developing processes and systems to improve systems
Various ad hoc project workProfile

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Part qualified / finalist level CIMA/ACCA
Strong management accounting background
Highly motivated and driven to improve processes and reporting
Strong communication skills and able to build relationships across all levels
Good time management and organisational skills
Advanced Excel and IT skills
Experience working with systems and able to demonstrate system improvement skillsJob Offer

The package on offer for the Management Accountant role is:

£40,000 negotiable depending on experience
