A 3- 4 month temporary opportunity for an experience Communications Assistant, within a small yet very busy Communications team.

Our client is a partnership between a Commission and a local council, who are passionate about finding candidates with a strong track record of internal communications and who are committed to innovation and creativity.

Description

The key accountability's of the Communication Assistant will include but may not be limited to;

Act as the first point of contact for communication issues relating to the Communications and, as appropriate direct enquiries to relevant personnel;
Manage and coordinate generic inbox, dealing with enquiries from both staff and members of the public;
Collation of copy and images for e-bulletins and external publications;
Manage and maintain distribution lists in line with GDP regulations;
Manage social media accounts; including the production of content, management of assets and monitoring of activity and analytics;
Manage and maintain public-facing websites and the internal staff intranet to ensure consistency and accuracy in both narrative and style;
Provide advice and support to teams and individuals across the organisation regarding communications activities;
Any other duties as reasonably allocated by the line manager or members of the Engagement Team. Profile

The successful candidates must possess;

Immediate availability;
Commitment to a 4 month role;
Previous public sector Communications experience;
Experience within a band 4 level Communications role;
Experience within the NHS is a very nice to have;
Exposure to social media management and copywriting. Job Offer

An immediate start date;
An hourly rate between £11 and £13 per hour;
A 3-4 month temporary role;
Exposure to a busy NHS Communications team
