Job Details
This is an office-based role requiring good computer skills (particularly Excel) SAP knowledge of advantage. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is able to follow standard work processes unaided. The successful candidate possesses a high level of accuracy and eye for detail, good organisation and time-management skills as well as ability to work against tight deadlines to ensure tasks get completed on time and right-first-time. Desired (but not critical) is an ability to simplify and improve existing work processes and help "automate" repetitive data generation using Excel.
Monday- Friday payinf £18 an hour. Based in Reading on a temporary basis.
Examples of tasks that can be expected but not limited to:
- Involvement in the creation of new pack labels during initiative launch. Printing of labels on the
test labeller, checking artwork/content and verifying 1D and 2D barcodes. This requires set-by-step
execution of a standard work process with high level of accuracy.
- Printing P55 (product) sheets for MPD check and filing them once check completed
- Can artwork and barcode verification for new launch codes, using software and barcode reader
- Assisting the Site Execution Initiative Leader during the de-activation of finished product codes
and updating the "Active SKU List"
- Daily/weekly stock-control using SAP and RTCIS reports and follow-up with individual owners
(MPD, Quality, Planning Group) to drive resolution of blocked stock
- Daily preparation of STOPs data using Proficy runtime reports + population of scorecards
- Monthly population of Department and supplier scorecards
- Monthly update of STOPs PDCA (Plan/Do/Check/Act) Board mci. pareto analysis of top losses
- Processing of customs broker invoices including validation of charges incurred
- Weekly tracking of supplier credit notes including chasing suppliers for any over dues
