Shift Maintenance Engineer

A leading manufacturer with an impressive market share and reputation for innovation and development, this company supplies the FMCG industry with a range of high-quality products. In recent years they have invested heavily in new machinery and technology and are currently looking to add a few Shift Engineers to the team.
Role & Responsibilities:
*Provide breakdown support and PPM within a high volume, fast paced manufacturing environment
*Carry out both electrical and mechanical maintenance on a wide range of automated machinery
*Working on equipment such as hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, packaging machinery, sensors, relays, drives, motors, wrappers
*Working on a range of PLC controlled equipment - Siemens & Allen Bradley
*Assist with the ongoing development to machinery and continual process improvements
Knowledge, Skills and experience
*Hold formal engineering qualifications - City & Guilds/ONC/HNC
*Multi-skilled background - open on bias electrical or mechanical
*Experienced within manufacturing, ideally high volume/FMCG would be preferred
*Excellent fault finding and problem-solving ability both electrical and mechanical
Benefits Package:
*£39,500
*Continental shift pattern - days and nights (12 hours)
*24 days annual leave
*Overtime paid additional to salary
