Transport Clerk

Job Title: Transport Clerk 
Location: Daventry
Shift: Monday – Friday 14:00 -22:00
Salary: £22,000 - £24,000
 
You will be joining a busy transport department on a 2-3 month contract to support during a busy period.
 
Duties include:

Ensure there are trailers when they are required and communicate requirements to network

Liaise with clients and/or loading team on site for any issues

Deal with any breakdowns on site ensuring a timely resolution.

Reporting any issues from the shift to the relevant Supervision

Debrief/brief drivers

Deal with drivers queries

Check all service and MOT dates of trailers on site

Manifest all drivers and complete traffic sheet

Personal Attributes:

Experience working within a Transport department

Attention to detail

Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages

Ability to work in a fast paced environment
