Production Control Administrator
* Washington, Tyne & Wear
* £19,000 - £21,000 per annum
* Full Time, Permanent
A large manufacturer with several sites across the UK is on the lookout for a Production Control Administrator to join their Planning team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of goods and materials inbound to the business.
Responsibilities:
* Long-term and short-term forecasting
* Creating schedules via excel through an MRP system and an electronic Kanban system
* Managing logistics and deliveries from around the UK, Europe and Asia
* Inventory management of all on site stock
* Ensuring all deliveries are fulfilled and delivered on time and in full
* Creating vendor ratings and delivery reports for all suppliers
* Generating end of month stock reports
* Tracking and reporting on departmental KPI’s
* Liaising with production and material handling departments
Knowledge and Experience:
* Ability to work from and create bill of materials
* Previous experience working within a high-speed manufacturing facility
* Excellent IT systems experience (MRP spreadsheets, Word, Outlook etc.)
* Good customer service and telephone manner
This position would suit a Junior Production Planner or Materials Administrator with a background in high-speed manufacturing. The successful candidate will enjoy an industry leading benefits package plus many other outstanding perks.
