JARK Reading Ltd are looking for food factory workers for our client in Reading. Your duties will be processing food. The work includes working in cold environment.

Temporary-Permanent role (10weeks temp)
Monday-Friday
35-40h/week
£9/h - £9.50/h once perm
7:30am start (finish may vary so must be flexible)

Requirements

Experience from food production is an advantage. The position requires you to have good health. We want you to be positive, good at working together, showing initiative and being able to work independently and effectively in a busy working environment.

Good English language is very important due to health and safety. Focus is on quality as our client's customers put strict demands on the products supply. Skilled employees at all stages of production are therefore very important.

Must be physically fit and strong to be able to lift boxed (about 25kg)

Responsibilities

Set up and operate machines to clean, cut or otherwise process food. Inspect the products, load and unload freezers, weigh, package and label the product, and load/unload the product and other supplies. Set up and operate machines to can, bag, box or otherwise package food products. Follows safety, sanitation, production, quality and food safety procedures.
